Welcome to the Mindfulness Moment from Creative Recovery at River Church in Lakewood, Colorado. Rest your mind, body, and heart. Allow yourself to be present. If you are distracted, gently bring yourself back to my voice and allow this time to be your healing space. I'm Angie, and i am grateful that you are joining me. I'm sharing with you today the meditations for our September from the Creative Recovery Workbook from First Timothy six nineteen, thus storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future so that they may take hold of the life that really is life. The overview that we've been working off of this week is from First Timothy six six through nineteen. Paul...

...tells Timothy that wealth and success do not satisfy and can in fact destroy us. The truth is pursuing justice, love, endurance, gentleness, and committing to your relationship is fulfilling. Jesus gave evidence to this. Be rich in doing good, be generous, and share. This is true life, truly living. So as we skip forward into the meditation for today, keeping that overview in mind and keeping First Timothy six nineteen our monthly words reflection and Our weekly word is truth. Your invitation to truth. Pause, put aside what you are doing to just rest in this moment. Really lax into this moment.

Soften your facial, embody muscles. Go ahead and take a deep breath in m and on the exhale. Allow yourself to consciously let go the muscles in your face and your body. Enhance awareness of your breath. Take three deep inhalations and exhalations and go at your own pace. H M m M. How sense your inner body. Bring awareness to what you are feeling in...

...your physical and emotional body. Expand sensory awareness outwards. This is seeing, listening, touching, and sensing what is around you. Notice what is true in this moment, both within and around you, without judgment. Center and ground. Feel your feet on the ground and the center of your body. Just be in this moment, Extend and make contact, open your eyes, and ready yourself to approach the next moment while staying connected to yourself and your...

How are you pausing, reflecting and creating a foundation of goodness this week, again without judgment.
